Back in the day, I looked forward to Easter almost as much as Christmas.  Oh the Easter basket!  My parents were always careful to hide these elaborate treat-filled wonders but it never took me long to find mine.  I was motivated by that candy (still am)!

After mass, we would spend the day doing “egg fights”, feasting on ham and watching “The Greatest Story Ever Told”.  For a little Catholic girl, there was one other thing to enjoy: the new outfits.  Every year, I would get a new dress and shoes just for the holiday.  And sometimes, if I was very lucky, I got a little purse.  Those little white purses were treasured prizes that I would stuff with Bonne Belle lip smackers and little powder compacts.  Although I was never a girly girl, makeup and purses always tripped my trigger.

And it’s funny how some of that old kid stuff remains: my love of candy, makeup and purses (along with old religious films) are still strong.

One other thing I like about this time of year?  The showers and flowers.  It seems as if everything starts to bloom at once here!  Although my husband has different flowers planted designed to bloom in various times of the year (leading to a gorgeous yard all year long), the first signs of crocuses are the ones that I look forward to every year.  They say: “Spring is here.  Check me out.” Kinda like a little girl with a new Easter purse.

This is a busy month at The Tarot Lady hub – things are in full bloom!

First of all, I’ll be hitting the main stage at the annual Tarot School’s Reader’s Studio!  If you have not purchased your tickets, there is still time…and a few seats left.  Come and join me and tarot fanatics from all over the world as we toss cards, practice our skills, learn new techniques, feast, and laugh!  This is one of my favorite events of the year and I’m counting down the days.  I hope to see you there.

This month, the blog is also hopping like an Easter bunny with posts such as:

  • signs from loved ones who’ve passed on
  • which tarot cards indicate education
  • can a “negative” card be positive?
  • my daily routine from getting up to wine o’ clock
  • and more!

I’m also going to be talking with Damon Stang, a fellow Gemini and a badass tarot reader!

Let’s get our spring on!

Blessings,

Theresa
