talking turkey

Isn’t that picture the greatest ever?  It’s called “Underwater Thanksgiving” and it’s from 1953.  Although I highly doubt anyone ate any of the turkey she was serving, it sure looks like she was having fun with this photo shoot!

As we roll into the holiday season, I’m getting ready for a big time change in my family: namely, my daughter is moving to Europe in a few days.  This is going to shift our upcoming celebration in a bittersweet way.  One, I’m happy for her as this is a new chapter with so much adventure.  But I’m also going to be wistful with an empty plate at the dinner table.

Over the last few years, my table has gotten smaller and smaller.  It’s not hard to feel a bit sad about that.

But onward and upward!  Change is always afoot and we are always in a state of flux.  Nothing is ever permanent.  All I can do is cherish the ones who are here while they are still present.  Because once they are gone – even if only to another part of the globe, the void is sorely felt.

One thing that I can count on: busy season is in full force at The Tarot Lady hub.  I’m going to be working like a fiend until March.  Many of my clients who enjoy planning for the year ahead start booking appointments now so they can maximize the upcoming year.  And for those of you who don’t like surprises, I’ve got some fresh-to-death blog posts coming up in November:

I’ll also be Talkin’ Tarot with Kelly-Ann Maddox of The Four Queens.  I recently had a reading from her and I was duly impressed.  You’re going to be too.

And: keep an eye on my world November 8th. For those of you who REALLY like to plan….I’ve got something just for you.  Heh heh….

Blessings!

Theresa
