How often should I get my tarot cards read?
This is a question that tarot readers get all the time from clients. The answer is very simple:
Don’t overdo it.
Put space between your sessions. This way, you allow time for things to percolate.
For many people, once a year is enough for a “general outlook”. Others enjoy a reading every six months or every quarter.
There are also some situations where more frequent readings may be fine and necessary.
Examples:
You’re running a business and need to look at launch dates, brainstorm, strategize, or get a feeling for the consequences of impending decisions.
You have a major situation happening in your personal life that is changing moment to moment and you need clarity as things unfold.
You’re looking for further insights to a developing situation.
What you don’t want to ever do:
Obsess.
Hammer the cards again and again and again over the same situation in order to get the answer you want.
Go from reader to reader to reader in a short time frame.
The best approach is to get your reading, reflect, and then take proactive steps towards creating the life you want. Remember, tarot is a lovely and useful guide but awareness, conscious decisions, and taking personal responsibility for your life are always the best and quickest path towards unravelling your future.
Blessings,
Theresa

I’m Theresa Reed (aka, The Tarot Lady). I’ve been a full-time tarot reader for 30+ years — which, in my industry, makes me pretty badass.
I’m definitely not your average Tarot expert — I drop the F-bomb, I quote rappers, and I’m obsessed with pop culture. Folks come to me for straight-talk + tough-love — without the woo-woo fluff.
