New Moon in Aries 2023 - and Tarot Readings for Each Zodiac Sign

Aries season begins and ends with a bang. The day after the Sun moves into the sign of the Ram, the New Moon in Aries 2023 arrives on the 21st at 1:23 PM ET. A second Aries Moon, this time a Solar Eclipse, will be present on the 20th of April, right as Taurus enters the picture. Wow. Spring is coming in like a lion and going out like a ram!

The first New Moon in Aries signals the beginning of the astrological year. You can find the courage now to start fresh, no matter where you currently stand. Where do you want to go from here? What risks are willing to take? Who do you want to become? Tap into the fiery nature of this lunation, and you can move past obstacles toward the future you want. This is your clean slate and a chance to get on the right path. So don’t sit around waiting for the future to happen – giddy up!

Thankfully, Aries is fiery as can be, providing the spark of inspiration needed to get moving. After so much time spent in watery Piscean vibes, the flame is lit and ready to burn clean. Expect to feel motivated and ready for action once this day arrives.

A few other astrological events are happening around this lunation. Mercury is hovering close to this New Moon, making it easier to think on your feet. This helps with decisiveness, but it can also add an element of impatience or impulsiveness into the mix. Make sure you look before you take a leap. Mars, which rules Aries, begins touring emo Cancer on the 25th after spending six months in Gemini. While it feels great to finally get the hell out of that transit, the last degrees of Gemini could also amplify impetuous vibes. Again, you’ll want to add a little bit of restraint if you want to avoid regrets later on. While fresh starts are exciting, a well-thought-out beginning is divine.
