This week: The Magician

Tarot Advice - Guidance in Every Card: The Magician

You have all the tools right under your nose to manifest your goals. It’s all just a matter of focus.  Direct your will and don’t give up until the goal is reached.  The power is yours for the taking. Magic is at your fingertips!

Although the Magician is attributed to skill or talent, it may also be a nudge to continue to work on developing your skills. If you are attempting to master a talent, you must stay on it.  Expand your skills through consistent practice.

This can also be a reminder to stand in your power. Assert your will. Be bold in your actions!

Ultimately, the Magician is about creating magic in your life – whether that be through your willpower, courage, or skill.  You have the capacity to create whatever you want – believe in your self.

The Magician reversed

Check yourself before you wreck yourself.  Are you abusing your power?  Or trying to assert your will on an unwilling situation or person? Back off a bit – this is not the time to force matters.

You are not ready to assume a position of power – go back and develop your skillset until you are confident of your abilities.

If you are dealing with someone who is abusing their position, it may be the right time to take a stand. Gather your courage and confront the person.  Do not let someone take away your personal power.

The reversed Magician symbolizes weakness or apathy – take a stronger approach if you wish to get the job done properly.  Muster your inner power and push on.  Commit to your goal and stop making excuses.

Lastly, this reversal suggests that the talent is far from fully developed.  Either you don’t have the chops to continue on or it simply needs a lot more practice.  No one gets good overnight.  And this is a sign that you have a lot more miles to go before you even begin to see some real skill.  You are not ready for prime time.

Questions to ponder

What steps am I willing to take to reach my goal?  What skills do I need to develop?  What does it mean to be powerful?

Blessings,

Theresa
