This week: Eight of Cups
Know when to walk away. This is one of those times.
You’ve completed a major project/cycle. Move on to new things.
If you’re considering a physical move or a trip, the Eight of Cups says: yes! Go!
Any transition or change is favored at this time. If you’re thinking of going in a new direction, this card supports that.
The Eight of Cups can also advise to detach from a situation. Go away for a bit so that you can get a better, objective view.
Eight of Cups reversed:
Something is left unfinished. Go back.
This may NOT be the time to bail.
Are you having trouble letting go? Are you refusing to leave a situation, even though it’s no longer worth it? Do you continue to repeat the same pattern again and again? The Eight of Cups reversed advises to look within. Go inward to see what keeps you stuck in this loop.
Are you running from your problems? If so, this card may advise to face it directly.
In some cases, the Eight of Cups may indicate that the fear of leaving or staying is too great. Depending on the context of the question, it may advise to gather courage to go or stay.
Questions to ponder:
Have you given it your all? Is it time to move on? Have you worn out your welcome? Are you running away from things? How might you welcome a transition?
