Welcome to Tarot Bytes – the tarot podcast for people who want to learn tarot…but don’t have all day. Short, bite-sized tarot lessons.
Episode 154: Tarot and Runes with Abbie Plouff
Years ago, I purchased a set of Runes. I couldn’t seem to make heads or tails out of them, so I gave up. Turns out I needed to give those Runes some time, according to Abbie Plouff. In this episode of Tarot Bytes, Abbie teaches what Runes are, how to work with them, and how you might incorporate this magickal tool into your tarot readings. I may have to give those Runes another chance!
Book mentioned in this episode: Taking Up The Runes: A Complete Guide To Using Runes In Spells, Rituals, Divination, And Magic by Diana L. Paxson.
Abbie (she/her) is a radical queer witch practicing modern heathenry, reading runes and tarot, and learning herbalism. She uses psychic tools to empower others to step into their purpose and build the life they want. A reading with Abbie is compassionate, deep, and full of magic. She has been running her own witchy business, Northern Lights Witch, since 2016. In 2019 she founded Seethe Witch Press, a micro-press dedicated to recording diverse witchcraft traditions.
In September of 2019, Seethe Witch Press published the inaugural issue of the Radical Witchcraft Zine – an annual collaborative zine that highlights magic for revolution. Abbie is the writer of The Heathen’s Journey column, an avid reader, and a teacher of witchcraft.
