Welcome to Tarot Bytes – the tarot podcast for people who want to learn tarot…but don’t have all day. Short, bite-sized tarot lessons.

Episode 42: Nine of Cups

I’ve gotta admit: when this card shows up in a tarot reading, I’m happy as a clam. Why? It’s because the Nine of Cups is the traditional “wish card” and a sign that good things are on the way. That being said, sometimes ya gotta be careful about what you’re wishing for. In this little episode, we will examine the symbols and interpretations for the Nine of Cups. I’m also recommending an excellent book that I recently discovered, The Ultimate Guide to the Rider Waite Tarot by Johannes Fiebig and Evelin Burger. It has in-depth examinations of the symbols in the popular Rider Waite Smith deck, my deck of choice!

Grab your favorite deck, put in your earbuds, and dive in!
