The Hit List - Solar Eclipse, Grand Trine, Aries, and Identity

For years, I have coveted a URL: theresareed.com. A lovely couple owned it and didn’t seem interested in letting me buy it. While I love being “The Tarot Lady,” not having “my name” felt weird. It was like a part of my online identity didn’t belong to me.

Every so often, I would check to see if the URL was available. It took almost two decades (not kidding), but then…there it was. Parked. The site was gone. I reached out to a broker on Monday to see if I could acquire it. Even if they said no, it didn’t hurt to try.

The next day, a Solar Eclipse came in like a bolt of lightning at 7:01 AM ET and lit up a part of my astrological chart aligned with identity: my natal Sun and Ascendant. The Eclipse formed a “Grand Air Trine” with these two points, a lucky aspect.

Shortly after, I checked my inbox. My offer was accepted. The URL was finally mine. Shazam!

It’s not lost on me that Saturn and Neptune were moving toward a conjunction in Aries a few days later. This aspect is associated with building a new dream – and Aries is all about identity and individuality. It’s interesting when astrology lines up so well.

The URL now points to my site, which means you’ll get to thetarotlady.com when you type in theresareed.com. While this may sound dramatic, I finally feel like my online “self” is made whole.

I’m forever grateful to the “other” Theresa Reed for taking good care of our online name all these years. The last time I checked her site, she was living her best life on an island with her partner and dogs. I hope she’s enjoying her life offline.
