1 april-grap uit Het Leven: een vrouw melkt een koe met een olifantenkop, 1932.

This has been one long mutha of a winter.  People have been downright cranky around here due to the constant gray, bone cold days.  Although I’m a fan of glum weather, I’m ready for some sunshine and open windows.  It’s hard to maintain my usual happy go lucky demeanor when the forecast is barely cracking above thirty.

I assumed by now that my crocuses would be blooming and I’d be wearing cute little jackets (next to purses, I’m mad about coats).  Ah, but I should know better than to assume anything.  For example, that picture above was not done in Photoshop.  It’s an April Fool’s joke  from a 1932 magazine called Het Leven.  (I found that goody in the flickr commons – one of my fave photo resources.)  Cool, eh?

One thing you can assume though: I’ll be bringing you great content all month long.  Here’s some of the stuff cooking up at The Tarot Lady hub:

  • what to do when your friends try to score your skills for free
  • what I pack for conferences (you might be surprised)
  • an interview with a real life medium
  • live reporting from the biggest tarot conference, Readers Studio (if you can’t make it, I’ve got yer back with all the dirt!)
  • and more!

Plus I’m going to be gabbing with Joanna Ash of Sun Goddess Tarot in my Talkin’ Tarot With feature!  You are going to fall in love with her fo’ sho!

And of course, my regular features, Biz Shizzle, Gonzo Tarot, Common (Sixth) Sense, The Hit List and Unplugged will be delivering the usual smack down.  This is going to be a content heavy month, peeps.  Ready?  Let’s hit it!

Blessings,

Theresa
