Excuse me for a minute, but I am going to go into full fan-girl mode here: I adore Sasha Graham. She’s one of my fave tarot peeps! I’m excited to share her latest book – and more – with you, my dear readers. (Psst…You’re going to love her too. )
I met Sasha Graham a few years ago at a tarot conference. She was one of the first people to greet me as I walked through the door and I have to say that she is one of the warmest, most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. We’ve been friends since that day and every year I look forward to seeing her again at the annual Reader’s Studio.
Sasha is the author of many fine tarot books: Tarot Diva: Ignite Your Intuition Glamourize Your Life Unleash Your Fabulousity!, 365 Tarot Spreads: Revealing the Magic in Each Day, Tarot Fundamentals, and the upcoming 365 Tarot Spells: Creating the Magic in Each Day. Her books are fun, clever, accessible, and educational at the same time. Whether you are new to the cards or a seasoned pro, you’ll find lots to love in her works.
Next year, this busy tarot author + diva will be gracing the main stage at the Reader’s Studio 2016. I cannot wait to watch Sasha bring her special brand of tarot magic to the stage! (If you have not purchased your tickets yet, I suggest you do because you’re going to want to be there.)
We recently talked on the phone and about family, tarot, New York, our love of food and her latest book.
And today we’re bringing a bit of that conversation here! Sasha is pulling back the curtain to share a mini tarot lesson, a tarot-inspired recipe, and she’s revealing the cover for her upcoming book: 365 Tarot Spells: Creating the Magic in Each Day
Revelations by Sasha Graham
When was the last time you revealed something?
A deeply held belief?
Tarot is an excellent revelatory tool. Sometimes, we can be so close to an issue, so enmeshed in the drama of a situation, it is hard to see the truth for what it really is.
Tarot takes us out of our own head and brings our attention to the cards on the table before us. This foot or two of distance is often all it takes to view yourself or a situation from a different perspective, thus showering us with revelations.
If you ask your cards one question today, why don’t you ask, “What is true about me that I did not know?”
You may be surprised by the answer.
Speaking of revelations, I have something to reveal today. Theresa was kind enough to allow me to come on over to her house to do it.
It is the “Cover Reveal” of my newest Llewellyn tarot book.

Mexican Chocolate Love Truffles
Ready to invoke powers of seduction? Mexican Love Truffles to conjure the heat of Mexico in your bedroom.
Assemble your ingredients.
This tarot spell uses the chocolate as an aphrodisiac.
You will invoke the sensuality of the vanilla bean.
And ignite your intention with the firepower of cayenne pepper.
Create the alchemy of desire.
Ace of Wands
8 ounces semi-sweet organic chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon fresh cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Dried cocoa, a dusting
Method, Visualization and Meditation
Sprinkle spice and incantations of love over truffles to bring passion to your bedside. Prepare and feed or gift these delicacies to the person you desire to become intimate with.
Chocolate is an aphrodisiac known the world over. The Ace of Wands is the spark of desire. Cayenne peppers inspire passion. Cinnamon enhances the masculine libido and attracts love. Vanilla is used for sex magic. The Aztecs who mixed Cacao seeds into their ceremonial beverages revered the cacao tree.
Gather your ingredients upon the kitchen counter. Place the Ace of Wands. Enter the card. Stoke the passion of the wand by making the flame grow bigger.
Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Heat heavy cream on your stovetop right before it boils. Pour the cream over the chocolate and mix until smooth and the chocolate is melted. Whisk in vanilla, cinnamon, cayenne, and salt.
Refrigerate until the mixture becomes thick. Scoop small tablespoon mounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place back in the fridge to firm up, about 1/2 an hour.
Form each mound into a ball. Roll in the cocoa powder while whispering the incantation.
Truffles keep in fridge for up to one month but feed them continually to your love to keep things spicy.
like a nectar to bee,
Caress my body,
love on me.
Bring me pleasure,
my bed come,
Kiss me, lick me,
I’m your plum.
