Talkin’ Tarot With is a monthly feature designed to introduce my readers to different tarot readers from our wonderfully diverse community!  Each month, I’ll be asking various tarot readers 3 questions about their tarot philosophy and style, plus pointing you to their websites and blogs so that you can learn more about them!  I like to hand pick tarot readers that I feel are talented and interesting.

Talkin' Tarot with Beverly Frable

If you’re in the Florida area, count yourself lucky: there are many fine tarot readers in your hood. One of my favorites? The one and only Beverly Frable of Tarot Connections. I got to know Beverly a few years back when we met at a tarot conference (I swear that these are the best way to meet the tarot greats – if you’ve hesitated to go, GO.)

A fellow cat lover and Gemini – what’s not to like? Well, there’s actually a ton of things to like about Beverly. She’s intelligent, compassionate, hilarious, loyal to the core, and a dedicated tarot of student. Even though she’s been reading tarot professionally for years, she’s continuously perfecting her craft by attending conferences and classes wherever she can. It’s that kind of tenacity that creates the very best readers. Her interests aren’t just limited to tarot – Beverly is also intrigued with Lenormand, Kipper, and playing cards as well as the history of divination.

In addition to reading, Beverly is also a teacher, sharing her love of tarot with students all over the world. Her warm personality makes everyone feel welcome, no matter what level they are at. If you’re ready to get a reading from someone who knows her stuff and cares a lot, you’re going to love her!

Beverly Frable is a professional tarot consultant, having studied divination under the direction of many of the world’s renowned experts while attending tarot events from New York to California.

Her philosophy is that divination can be a valuable tool, one that can be used to gain insight into your life so that you can actively create your own future through the choices you make.

Beverly is currently focused on preparing learning opportunities for others on subjects as varied as introductions to and comparisons between Tarot, Lenormand, Kipper and Playing Cards, cultural impacts/influences of each, and the history of divination.

Q: What is your philosophy about tarot reading?

Beverly: Frankly, I don’t have one.  My goal is to investigate the source of the varied interpretations of the cards, the history and origins of the meanings, and the evolution of the divinations systems.  It’s my belief that my role is one in which I present the results of that research to others to enable them to decide what works for them, and so that they can base their perspectives on the facts vs. the opinions of others.

Q: How do you feel a client might get the most out of a reading with you?

Beverly: My interpretations of the cards continues to evolve, it’s not a static thing for me.  My perspectives change based on what comes through during the reading, what draws me in, and what messages I believe the cards may be attempting to deliver based on what I know of their history.

It’s my belief that nothing is static in this world.  We need to continue to change, to be open to new approaches, and to “go with the flow” of the energy as much as possible to get the best result.

To me, it’s all about evolution.  I welcome what tomorrow brings, and I treasure the gifts of the yesterdays.

Q: What is your best piece of advice for an aspiring tarot reader?

Beverly: Never be comfortable with what you know.  Always thirst for new information.  Recognize that there are many teachers out there, and so much of what’s available is worth knowing.  Ultimately, however, YOU need to be the source of your own knowledge, and it’s YOUR opinions that matter most.

Believe in yourself.
