Episode 211: Tarot and Food with Courtney McBroom and Melinda Lee Holm

What happens when you bring a chef together with a tarot reader? Answer: divination + yummy things + a cookbook. Chef Courtney McBroom and tarot priestess Melinda Lee Holm join me today to talk about two of my favorite topics: tarot and food! They also share the deets on their new cookbook, Divine Your Dinner: A Cookbook for Using Tarot as Your Guide to Magickal Meals.

About Courtney and Melinda:

COURTNEY MCBROOM is a chef, food writer, and the founder of Ruined Table. She is also president of the most exclusive frankfurter-themed club in the world: the Hot Dog Appreciation Club. In addition to co-writing the first three Momofuku Milk Bar cookbooks, she has written for Lucky Peach magazine, Vice Munchies, and GQ. Courtney is a firm believer that everyone has the power to create a great meal and a great party.

MELINDA LEE HOLM is a tarot priestess, author, and creator of Melinda Lee Holm Beauty, a collection of potions crafted around magickal ingredients. Melinda has studied and practiced the art of tarot for more than twenty-five years and has been featured in Vogue, Rolling Stone, WWD, InStyle, Condé Nast Traveler, and The Hollywood Reporter. Her readings, writing, Elemental PowerTarot deck, and classes inspire and inform people all over the globe.
