The Hit List - It's about time

“How many books have you written?”

“I don’t know.” That was my honest answer. I’ve lost count. Since I’ve turned 50, it’s been almost a book a year. I had to go to my site and check. Eight books. Two tarot decks. So far.

But now…another book is on the way.

“What is your next book about?”

I paused. “It’s about time.”

Next spring, The Book of Astrological Returns: Your Complete Guide to Every Life Cycle from the Sun to Pluto, arrives. It’s a book about planetary timing, namely, the life cycles known as returns. Predictive astrology has been my primary interest, so this topic is important to me. Needless to say, I spend a lot of time thinking about….time.

This beauty was born out of necessity. I was in the middle of my second Saturn return and unable to find information (there is plenty on the first one). The United States was going through the first Pluto return. And another Jupiter return was on the way. In other words: there was a lot going on. This meant endless research.

I found myself getting frustrated. Sure, there were Solar, Lunar, and Saturn – but what about the rest? Why couldn’t there be a concise, easy-to-understand “cookbook” with every return? I began to bitch about it, which is never a good vibe. One more day digging around online, and finally, I was fed up.

That’s what led to this book. Someone needed to write it. This book needed to happen. It was about time.
