The Hit List - Blame eclipse season

We’ve got a Solar Eclipse on the way by the end of this week. This will be the last one of the year, and it promises to be a doozy. The aspects are rougher than a mangy raccoon’s back…so I plan to lay low.

Frankly, this eclipse season has been both productive and disruptive. I’m nearing the end of a massive renovation project, plus working on a book and multiple projects. Even with all this busyness, I managed to find myself getting hit in the strangest ways.

For example, technology has been a total bitch. Computer freezes, livestream messes, and power outages – urgh! I can’t even blame Mercury retrograde for this nonsense! Needless to say, my last nerve has been tested to the point where I wondered if there was even a nerve left!

On top of this, I’ve experienced disappointments from a few folks that I assumed were decent. I’ll spare the details, but needless to say, it’s been eye-opening. Time for a boundary refresh!

Of course, I could point out that eclipse season tends to be revealing. Stuff comes to light. In some cases, people or situations get “eclipsed” out of your life. It’s easy to point a finger at the planets.

However, the wiser side of me knows sometimes there isn’t a planetary conspiracy to mess up my life. Technology fails for many reasons. People aren’t always who they pretend to be. And sometimes: my judgment sucks. Ouch. I can own that.

So, as the eclipse looms large this weekend, I’m going to blast Bowie, continue the declutter, and rest as much as possible. Because no matter what plans the moon may have, I don’t have to opt in – or point a finger. I can simply live my life.
