2026 has been a roller coaster. That’s not surprising, considering it was ruled by the Wheel of Fortune, a card notorious for ups, downs, and shifts in fortune. As the new year looms, the stage is being set to meet the card for 2027: Justice.
Justice is associated with fairness, objectivity, decisions, legal affairs – and karma. Next year, these themes will play out in our lives and on the world stage. Some may receive justice at last, while others may need to answer for dirty deeds. One thing to know about Justice: it doesn’t come to play. Next year will be serious as wrongs get righted. Even if it seems like nothing is happening, remember karma never forgets an address. Keep in mind, you have something to say about this, too. Do not hesitate to demand accountability. Speak up! This is not a year for silence or compliance. It’s for putting things back in divine order. So let’s make sure we keep our noses clean – and stand up when we see injustice happening anywhere.
Here’s how you find the Universal year card:
Add up the numbers in 2027: 2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 11.
Next, you match that number to a Major Arcana. 11 is associated with Justice. Justice is equilibrium, balance, consequences, and ethics. We’re tired of corruption, war, and the tearing apart of our communities. This year, we can turn this around. Expect a few strong leaders to lead the reckoning. Meanwhile, the ones who have caused harm will receive the payback they deserve.
The Justice year wants you to be decisive. What changes do you want to make in your life? Weigh your options. But don’t just sit there. Make a move. Nothing has to be perfect or permanent. If you’re not sure, consult with the most ethical people you know. They can help you steer your ship right.
This card favors balance. If you’ve been overdoing anything, it’s time to dial that back. Of course, if you haven’t done jack, take action! Find the middle ground between movement and rest.
Keep in mind, 11 is a compound number – it can be reduced. 1 + 1 = 2. Two is the number of choices, collaboration, and connection. Together, we’re stronger. Partner up, and you’ll be unstoppable.
Two is the High Priestess card, which is associated with intuition and feminine wisdom. Could this be the start of the matriarchy? Sure seems like it. It’s also a reminder to trust your instincts. Your intuition will not fail you.
The High Priestess is aligned with the Moon, a planet associated with change and emotions. 2027 wants us to be compassionate, caring, and in our feelings. It’s okay to be sensitive! Also, learning how to go with the flow will help maintain a state of peace.
On the world’s stage, it’s going to be soap opera theatrics as justice is meted out. 2026 brought changes of fortune for many, both ups and downs. This year is radically different. Luck runs out for some, while the collective demands fairness. Expect more than a few wannabe dictators to get a taste of their own medicine. History never rewards the bad guys forever – eventually, their day comes. 2027 is all about that.
Here are some things to do to best move through 2027:
1. Demand justice, especially for marginalized people.
2. Speak up!
3. Get involved in your community.
4. Do the right thing.
5. Media literacy is a must – learn about propaganda. Don’t fall for bots, hype, or influencer crap. Question every source. Demand that people provide sources. Remember the billionaires control all of our media – which means they report on what THEY want. Look for the slant.
6. Make careful decisions. Consider whether your choices might cause unintentional harm.
7. Give back to good causes.
8. REST.
9. Support and stand with Black women.
10. Read more. The more educated you are, the more powerful you become.
Above all, don’t let anyone or anything steal your joy. That’s what the bad guys want.
