HOT TIP: Recently, I did a biz tune up.  I updated my webpage and the template for my e-books (added my new pic). I deleted old files and programs that I no longer used. A mini financial audit led to saving an additional $300 a year.  It took all of an hour and a half.  Now my files are straight, site is updated, and my budget is a little happier.  I recommend taking some time at least once a year to do this (better yet: once a quarter).  Update info + new pics, make sure prices are right on all your products, and look over your budget to see where you might cut back.  A lean, mean machines functions best. And that can only happen when you take the time to sit down on a regular basis to tune up.

Newsletters to read: If you’re looking to learn more about SEO, you might want to subscribe to Yoast’s newsletter.  It’s smart as can be.

Listen up:  In November Talking Shop is focused on biz planning.  If you want to learn how to rock your next year or set solid goals, don’t miss this.  Details right here.

On my beside reading stack: When I first started my business, this book was my bible: Small Time Operator: How to Start Your Own Business, Keep Your Books, Pay Your Taxes, and Stay Out of Trouble by Bernard B. Kamoroff.  It’s still a goodie after all these years – practical, easy to read, and useful as all get out.

Don’t forget: I’ve got a fantastic e-course for mystical entrepreneurs who struggle with the money aspect of their biz.  Check out GET IN CHARGE. Because there is nothing wrong with being a prophet who enjoys making a profit. Also: you can pick my business brain any time you like with my (inexpensive) and speedy email business mentoring service.

My mega-cool list of Business Resources for Tarotpreneurs and Mystical Entrepreneurs.  All for you, my friends.

So that’s it – lots of Mad Hookups for November.

Go on and succeed wildly, hot stepper!
