The Hit List - Between Moons

The Full Moon happened a few days ago. It’s the first Full Moon since eclipse season ended. Soon, the New Moon in Libra will be here, the ideal lunation for planting seeds for love and justice. Meanwhile, this space between moons feels like an endless void.

I’ve been writing, waiting, creating, and purging. Layers shed, revealing new possibilities. My eyes have opened wide to things I needed, but refused to see. Can I blame the moons? I’m always the first to point to an astrological reason for this or that.

But I wonder if this aimless feeling has nothing to do with the two-week stretch before that New Moon comes and goes. What if all of these happenings are like a long domino chain of events, meant to fall, one by one? Is there a rhyme or reason? Or none at all?

I am forced to let go. Of books, decks, assumptions, beat-up furnishings, rugs, people, beliefs. It’s like my life is an everything must go sale. Again, is it the lunar vibe (the word lunacy comes from luna)? Or is this a pattern unraveling like a missed stitch on a sweater?

There are no answers at this time. Nothing comes through, even though I petition the saints, gods, cards, stars, and moons.

Perhaps the space between moons is meant for nothing at all except a spot to wait and dream. Or not even that.
