The Hit List - Small businesses I love

The other day, I mentioned a small business I love during a livestream. One of the folks in attendance asked if I would compile a list of the small businesses I recommend. Wish granted! These are a few of my absolute faves. (Some are local to my area, while others are not.)

WaxWing – This woman-owned business has some of the best local and handmade gifts.

Whitmark Co – If you love candles, you must check out Whitmark Co! These smell amazing – and are infused with Reiki!

Eye Love Love – Magical sprays for every reason and season.

Totem Flower Essences – I swear by these elixirs!

Paper and Pencil – Chicago’s friendly neighborhood stationery shop. I adore stationery and always visit this place when I’m in the Windy City!

Chase My Creations – I’m a t-shirt gal, and the t-shirts that get the most compliments come from this local biz.

Ascended Gifts – Milwaukee’s best metaphysical store. You can find everything you need in this one-stop ritual shop.

Jay by the Bay – I hop around to different massage therapists but always come back to Jay. He’s the strongest I’ve worked with – and he healed my frozen shoulder!

Good Vibe Cookies – Cookies that look like crystals? YES. These gifts are always a show stopper!

Wish Beads Jewelry. I love gifting folks with these manifestation pieces.

Parlour of Wonders – Madame Pamita has some excellent spell kits. I adore the New Moon series!

McLaughlin and Hayes Millinery – For all you hat lovers these local legends will hook you up!

Archer and Olive – This shop fuels my stationery addiction. OMG!

The Malliway Brothers – If you visit Chicago, go here. It’s a great place for all things witchcraft. The book selection is uh-may-zing!

Matilda Bakehouse – From scratch bakery in the Fox Point area. The chocoholic is my fave.

Little Rooms – I have a bunch of their pieces. Unique, funky, and metaphysical jewelry with a sense of humor.

Evil Pawn Jewelry – Another great jewelry shop. I love their work so hard!

Sphere & Sundry – Magickal oils and potions from Kaitlin Coppock and her husband, astrologer Austin. Everything is ritually crafted.

The holidays are rapidly approaching. Instead of pouring your money into the big box stores or online giants, support mom-and-pop shops and indie business owners. Let’s put our dollar bills where they count!
