Got a website that is more like a ghost town?  Liven things up by fixing the problems:  11 Reasons Why Your Website Doesn’t Sell

Clueless about how to create a memorable online presence? Sarah Von Bargen has a great offering you may want to check out: Secret Weapon.  I’ve worked with her before and she’s top notch.  This is a solid investment, yo.

Working on a tarot book but feeling stucker than dried mud?  Paul Jarvis and Jason SurfrApp opened the doors to their new program: Finish Your Damn Book.  Both these dudes have written books that sell well so you know they’re not talking some jive shit.  Git it git it…

Love tarot?  Get your sweet booty to the Reader’s Studio 2015.  They have a payment plan to make it smooth as can be.

Kelly Kingman’s post on how to use your handwriting to create cool images for your site is worth checking out.  Unless your handwriting sucks.

The next time you hear someone bragging about their “six figure launch,” stop and read this smart post from Grace Judson.

If you find yourself constantly comparing yourself to a peer, you may want to check out Beyond Compare, a new course from Tanya Geisler and Lauren Bacon.  Stop the comparing and become daring!

Can you effectively read for someone you know?  Yes.  In fact, a long term relationship can make it deeper.  Here’s my take on it.

Some business advice for tarot readers from Christiana Gaudet: “If you can’t be logical, you aren’t ready to be mystical.” Word.

Learn how to write compelling newsletters that your audience will actually want to open.  Shenee Howard lays it out, straight up.

Erika Lyremark juuuusssstttt released her new show, Markd.  You are so going to want to watch this one.

If you are ready to upgrade your biz, don’t miss out on Amber McCue’s 2015 Business Planathon.  It’s free!  Get your biz year started on the right foot!

Speaking of planners: I’m all about having some great planners for all my business needs.  A few of my faves:

For scheduling clients and appointments, you can’t beat At-A-Glance Vienna Weekly and Monthly Planner 2015, Wirebound, 8.5 x 11 Inch Page Size (122-905)

I like to map out my launches and events on a wall calendar so that I can see my timeline in one place.  I recommend AT-A-GLANCE Reversible Erasable Wall Calendar 2015, 36 x 24 Inches (PM26B28)

Because I like to check out the planets before doing any major biz move, I always get a copy of Llewellyn’s 2015 Astrological Calendar: 82nd Edition of the World’s Best Known, Most Trusted Astrology Calendar

I also love the Laurel Denise planners for my blog and marketing calendar.  The layout is flat and there is a lot of space for jotting down ideas.

HOT TIP:  taking a day off from tarot is always wise.  It’s easy to suffer burnout in this work.  In order for you to function at your highest capacity, you need time away from clients.  Schedule in at least one day a week where you are doing zilch with your cards.  Your brain will thank you very much.

Newsletters to read: Sign up for Alexandra Franzen’s newsletter for fantastic posts on writing and more.

Listen up: every month, I’m bringing some highly useful podcasts for mystical business owners with my very fine co-host, Bri Saussy, at Talking Shop.  Don’t miss this month – we’re going to be talking with Pace Smith on the language we use with our clients. Previous shows are always in the archive.

On my beside reading stack: The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs: How to Be Insanely Great in Front of Any Audience and Speak Up For Your Business: Presentation Secrets for Entrepreneurs Ready to Tell, Sell, and Compel.  I’ve got a presentation next year and I want to deliver like a pro, yo.

Don’t forget: I have sweet little business ebooks just for you.  At only $15 a pop, these gems will give your mystical biz a mega boost.  Check out the ala carte biz goodness at Professional Mystic’s Guides.

Go on and succeed wildly, hot stepper!
