The Hit List - On Mercury retrograde and grace
So we’re in the middle of another Mercury retrograde. I kinda slid through the past few with a bit of grace. This one….not so much. Although I hate to blame the planets for mishaps, sometimes it feels good to do that.

I wrote about my poor cat last week. Sadly, I don’t have good news to report. All the prayers and positive energy sent his way has not changed the reality: he is dying. It’s so hard to watch. He’s not suffering but is actively declining.

Other things brought my way via Mercury retrograde (yes I’m pointing fingers at the cosmos!):

:: Dumb typos on a presentation.
:: My trusty mic for recording podcasts broke.
:: I discovered I have a hater in my crew.
:: Couldn’t load up an IGTV video because Instagram had to “protect their community,” whatever the hell that means.

And so on.

One aggravating or sad thing after another. Frankly, most of this stuff I can blow off. But not the cat. My precious baby is trying to find his way to the Rainbow Bridge and it’s too, too sad. All that the other crap? Meaningless (especially you, hater – you’ll get fronted out sooner or later).

Practicing grace when everything comes at you all at once isn’t easy. But I’m trying. Sometimes that’s all you can do.
