Last month, I kicked off the next leg of  The Tarot Coloring Book with a venture into Albuquerque. It was awesome. I think I fell in love with that city. Needless to say, it’s a place I would definitely hit up again.

Last week, I took the tour back to my neck o’ the woods with a jaunt into the Hubertus area at The Nutman, my absolutely favorite snack shop in the Kettle Moraine Area. Heck, it might be my fave snack supply joint in the world!

The Nutman is run by my friends Jill and Frank Campana, two of the warmest individuals you’re ever going to meet.

Because Jill is a sports fanatic, I made sure to show up with a Packers shirt. One must don the green and gold when heading into any sports fan’s domain. I wasn’t about to disappoint!

The Nutman isn’t just a snack emporium, it’s also home to the Java Dancer coffee bar, Really Cool Gift Shop (they sell The Tarot Coloring Book there!) and Sacred Space Studio. Jill is not only a Nia teacher but also a devotee of tarot. She combines the two in her groundbreaking Tarot Tuesday classes. If you’re in the area and want to learn tarot in an embodied way, you now know what you’re going to be doing on Tuesday nights!

We had a lovely little turnout for the tarot workshop and book signing. Two people came all the way up from Chicago!

It was a lively class with great input from the attendees. It became clear to me: there are plenty of tarot fans outside the city. Even though I’m an urban gal, it was nice to see that.

After signing books and hugging the participants, it was time to head home but not without a giant gift basket of goodies from Jill and Frank!  (Of course, my cat TaoZen was right on it when I got home. Jerk.)

That’s the one thing I’m discovering about this book tour: not only am I meeting some wonderful new people and spreading the word about The Tarot Coloring Book, but I’m also having a chance to strengthen the bonds with my friends.

Because that’s the key: relationships.

Good relationships add so much to your life. Whether you’re supporting each other emotionally or helping each other out with a project such as a book tour, your success depends on others. We’re all in this cosmic soup together!

So this week, give thanks for the friends in your life that make your world awesome and help you show up as your very best.

Thank you Jill!  LOVE YOU.
